The Play:
You are not playing against the dealer or the other players. You are simply trying to get the best possible poker hand by using your three cards & the two cards, which the dealer will expose.
After looking at your first three cards, you may ask for your bet back or you may "Let it ride."
The dealer then turns up one card. You may ask for your second bet or "Let it ride."
The second card is then turned over by the dealer exposing both the community cards. At this point, all winning hands are to be paid according to the payout schedule. Players cannot show their hands to other players
Phil-Em-Up is a five-card style game. The better the hand the player receives, the more the player has a chance to win. Each player receives two cards and 3 cards to the dealer, which are community cards for all players to use. After each player sees his/her two cards, they have the option to double down.
