Grand Detroit. Casino Player Magazine honored MGM Grand Detroit with its “Best
Casino In Detroit” award after the casino attracted the most reader votes in
the magazine’s “2002 Best of Gaming Awards.” Only one award was given for
the Detroit region. The July 2002 issue of the national magazine will cite the
poll results.
Midwest Gaming and Travel Magazine readers selected MGM Grand Detroit
as their “Favorite Casino” in Michigan. Readers also gave the casino awards
for “Best Casino Hosts” “Best Selection of Slots” and “Best Video
Poker”. Results of the magazine’s “Readers Choice Awards” will be
published in the August 2002 issue.
